This property is located contiguous to the south of the Canadian Malartic Mine situated over Lac Fourniere close to Val-D’Or. Little past work has been done on the property. The exposed rock (Monzonite) sampled on islands on the lake indicated it is similar to the geology west of EMR’s property. Drilling there (hole F97-02) indicated 0.4% Cu over 66.94m.

Much of the property is covered with overburden. Mineralization was discovered by drilling. Rock types on the property consist of calco-alkaline amygdalar andesite and massive brecciated dacite. Seven boreholes were drilled on the property in 1991. Assay results include 0.4889%Zn, 0.09%Pb and 0.0472%Cu/5.2m (hole DV-91-12) and 1.12%Zn, 0.219%Pb, 0.029%Cu/6.3m (hole DV-91-14). The occurrence of disseminated anamolous base metal values; 0.28% Zn/15.8m, 0.13%Zn/22.2m in DV-91-12 and 0.61%Zn/13.17m in DV-91-13 suggests a VMS deposit may be present in the area.

Mineralization is concentrated along the contact between leucogabbro with lavender feldspar and a kilometric lens of graphitic paragneiss enclave in leucogabbro. Samples assayed 0.61% Cu, 0.25% Ni, 485 ppm Co over 3 m and 1.1% Cu, 0.29% Ni. 561 ppm Co pver 0.75 m, 2.25% Zn over 0.5 m. Another grab sample assayed 1.71% Cu, 0.41% Ni, and 925 ppm Co (Reference GM 55928).
